Responsible Gaming – Play Smart, Play Safe at j3j3

j3j3 believes that gambling should be fun — a form of entertainment, not a source of stress or financial harm. This page explains the tools j3j3 provides to keep your play in check, the warning signs of problem gambling, and where to get help if you need it. We take this seriously — not because we have to, but because it's the right thing to do.

21+

The 21+ Rule Is Non-Negotiable at j3j3. Under PAGCOR's regulatory framework, all online gambling activities in the Philippines are strictly restricted to individuals who are 21 years of age or older. This isn't just a policy checkbox — j3j3 enforces age verification for all accounts, and no withdrawal will be processed until identity and age have been confirmed. If you are under 21, you are not permitted to use j3j3 in any capacity. If you suspect an underage person has accessed j3j3, please contact our support team immediately.

Our Responsible Gaming Tools

Everything in your j3j3 Account Settings → Responsible Gaming. These tools are free, immediate (for restrictions), and always available to every registered player.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, per week, or per month. Once you hit your limit, no further deposits are accepted for that period — no exceptions, no override. Limit decreases take effect immediately. Limit increases require a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before they activate, giving you time to reconsider.

Instantly active
Loss Limits

Cap the maximum amount you can lose within a defined period. When your loss limit is reached, j3j3 automatically restricts further real-money play for the remainder of that period. This is one of the most effective tools available for players who want a clear spending boundary — use it proactively, not reactively.

Instantly active
Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration. When the timer runs out, j3j3 displays a mandatory on-screen reminder and can be configured to force a log-out. Long sessions without breaks are associated with impaired decision-making — this tool helps you keep your gaming sessions healthy and contained.

Instantly active
Cooling-Off Period

Need a short break without going through full self-exclusion? A cooling-off period temporarily restricts access to your j3j3 account for a defined period — 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this time, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. The restriction cannot be reversed once activated.

Irrevocable for duration
Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is j3j3's strongest responsible gaming tool. When you self-exclude, your account is closed and access is permanently restricted for the chosen exclusion period — which may be 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or indefinitely. Self-exclusion requests are processed within 24 hours. The exclusion period cannot be shortened once activated.

Irrevocable
Reality Check Reminders

j3j3 can send you periodic on-screen notifications during play that show your current session duration, net win/loss position, and a prompt to take a break. These reality checks are designed to interrupt the flow of extended play and bring you back to an informed decision about whether to continue.

How to Set Your Limits

Accessing j3j3's responsible gaming tools takes less than 2 minutes. Here's how to get there — no need to contact support for standard tool activation.

1
Log In to Your j3j3 Account

Visit j3j3.org and sign in with your registered mobile number and password. All responsible gaming tools are tied to your individual account.

2
Open Account Settings

Tap your profile icon (top right on desktop, accessible from the menu on mobile). Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown.

3
Navigate to "Responsible Gaming"

Inside Account Settings, you'll find a dedicated "Responsible Gaming" section listing all available tools: Deposit Limits, Loss Limits, Session Timers, Cooling-Off, and Self-Exclusion.

4
Activate Your Chosen Tool

Select the tool you want, set your parameters, and confirm. Restrictions activate immediately. For self-exclusion, a confirmation screen will remind you that the action is irrevocable — read it carefully before confirming.

5
Contact Support for Assistance

If you'd prefer to set limits via our support team rather than doing it yourself, our Filipino agents are available 24/7 via live chat. Self-exclusion requests can also be submitted directly to support if you prefer human assistance.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling doesn't always look the same — it can develop gradually. The questions below are adapted from widely used problem gambling screening tools. If you find yourself saying "yes" to several of these, we encourage you to use j3j3's self-exclusion tool and speak with a professional.

Have you ever gambled more money than you planned to, or played for longer than you intended?

Do you find yourself gambling to recover losses from a previous session — "chasing" your losses?

Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or neglected bills in order to fund gambling?

Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to cut down or stop gambling?

Has gambling negatively affected your work, studies, family life, or relationships in the Philippines?

Do you think about gambling when you're not playing — replaying past sessions or planning future ones?

Have you tried to hide the extent of your gambling from family members or friends?

Do you use gambling as a way to escape stress, depression, anxiety, or other emotional difficulties?

If you answered yes to three or more of these questions, you may be experiencing problem gambling. Please use j3j3's self-exclusion tool and consider reaching out to a mental health professional or gambling counsellor. You are not alone — help is available in the Philippines.

Playing Responsibly – The j3j3 Way

These aren't just house rules — they're guidelines for keeping gambling enjoyable. Every j3j3 player is encouraged to keep these principles in mind every time they play.

Golden Rules for Filipino Players
  • Only gamble with money you can genuinely afford to lose — never from rent, utility bills, or daily expenses.
  • Set a budget before you start playing, and stick to it even if you're on a winning streak.
  • Treat gambling as entertainment, like buying a movie ticket or dining out — not as an investment or income source.
  • Never chase losses. A losing session is a losing session — accept it and log off.
  • Take regular breaks. Stand up, drink water, and step away from the screen every hour.
  • Avoid gambling under the influence of alcohol, medication, or extreme emotional states.
  • Keep gambling separate from work, family time, and social activities — balance matters.
  • Use j3j3's deposit and loss limits proactively — before you feel you need them, not after.
Signs Your Gambling Has Become a Problem
  • You gamble more than you intended, repeatedly, even when you tell yourself you'll stop.
  • Gambling has started affecting your sleep, eating habits, or physical health.
  • You feel guilt, shame, or secrecy about your gambling activity.
  • You've asked family or friends for money and haven't told them what it was for.
  • Gambling feels like an obligation or compulsion rather than a choice.
  • You've missed work or school because of gambling sessions.
  • You feel that the only way to fix a financial problem is to gamble your way out of it.
  • Your partner, parents, or children have expressed concern about your gambling.

j3j3's Commitment: Our support team is trained to identify unusual betting patterns that may indicate a player is in distress. If our team notices concerning behaviour on your account, we may reach out proactively — or in some cases temporarily restrict the account — as a protective measure. We would rather have a difficult conversation than watch a player spiral into harm.

Support Resources in the Philippines

Problem gambling is a recognised condition — treatable with the right support. The following organisations provide assistance to Filipino players and their families. All resources listed are Philippine-based.

PAGCOR Responsible Gaming

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation runs a responsible gaming programme and requires all licensed operators to maintain standards for player protection. PAGCOR accepts player complaints and operates player protection hotlines. Contact information is available at pagcor.ph (plain text reference — not a link).

National Center for Mental Health (NCMH)

The NCMH is the Philippines' primary government mental health institution. They operate a crisis hotline available to anyone experiencing mental health challenges, including compulsive gambling. Gamblers Anonymous Philippines

j3j3 Responsible Gaming Team

Self-Exclusion – When You Need a Real Break

Self-exclusion is the nuclear option — and sometimes it's exactly what's needed. If you feel that you cannot control your gambling, or if a cooling-off period isn't enough, self-exclusion permanently closes your access to j3j3 for the selected period.

Here's what happens when you self-exclude from j3j3:

  • Your account is immediately restricted — you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets.
  • Any pending bonus offers or promotions are cancelled and voided.
  • Your available account balance will be returned to your registered payment method (GCash, PayMaya, or bank account) after identity verification, within the standard processing window.
  • j3j3 will make reasonable efforts to exclude your email address and mobile number from all marketing communications for the duration of the exclusion.
  • The exclusion period cannot be shortened. If you request reversal before the exclusion ends, the request will be refused.
  • After the exclusion period ends, you will need to actively contact j3j3 support to reactivate your account — it does not reactivate automatically.

Self-exclusion from j3j3 applies only to j3j3. If problem gambling is a serious concern, we strongly encourage you to also contact PAGCOR to request exclusion from other licensed Philippine gambling operators, and to seek professional counselling through the NCMH or Gamblers Anonymous Philippines.
